About Mason Public Schools Foundation

The Mason Public Schools Foundation (MPSF) was created by community leaders for the benefit of our students. As an independent, non-profit organization the MPSF serves as a conduit to direct community contributions toward expanding opportunities for learning. The MPSF supports activities that:

  • Augment technology, supplies and equipment available to students
  • Encourage innovative teaching
  • Promote community awareness of important educational issues
  • Recognize the achievements of our students
  • Enable the sharing of talents and resources between school and community

The MPSF exists to support and enhance the educational opportunities for Mason’s youth. The MPSF recognizes that the quality of education available to students is an essential factor in maintaining a strong community and creating productive successful citizens. Today’s investment in our youth will create a better tomorrow for our community, our nation and our world.

We depend on your support

The lifeblood of the MPSF is a caring and concerned community. The MPSF relies on your financial support and your time and talents to accomplish our mission for our students. You may contribute to the Foundation in any of the following ways:

  • Giving cash contributions
  • Making annual pledges
  • Participating in fundraising activities such as the Mason 5K and the MPSF Gala
  • Specifying the MPSF on the Mason Area United Way designation form
  • Selecting the MPSF as a recipient of memorial gifts
  • Offering your time and talents to assist in MPSF activities

Our Board—Citizens serving the needs of youth

The MPSF’s governing body is independent of the Mason Board of Education; however, the MPSF Board of Directors works in cooperation with the school district to maximize the benefit to our youth. Any member of the MPSF board would be happy to answer questions and take suggestions. If you would like more information about becoming a MPSF board member, please contact us.
